ONSITE OHS – Family Medicine/Internist - PA



Physician – Family Medicine/Internist - Westmoreland County, PA

In this position you will be required to perform a full range of Outpatient Primary Care Physician's services on site, using furnished facilities, equipment and supplies, to a variety of patients. All aspects of Outpatient Primary Care services shall be commensurate with the capabilities of the provider and the Medical Department including but not limited to the items listed below.

Job Duties:
History, detailed examination, testing and diagnosis
Treatment plan recommendation and review
Work collaboratively with facility Primary Care team
Provide immediate evaluation and management conditions as they occur in addition to regularly scheduled appointments
Prepare and submit appropriate documentation as specified in applicable regulations (to include fitness reports, progress notes, Periodic Health Assessments, referrals, and consults, etc.)
Participate collaboratively with higher facility and professional committees, as required
Provide instruction to clinic staff on an ad hoc basis and periodic basis
Liaison and report to higher facility as required for patient's continuum of care
Shall demonstrate evidence of education, training and experience in Internal Medicine or Family Practice
Shall demonstrate education, training and experience in primary care
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Education: Diploma from an accredited school of medicine
Current board certification by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) in Internal Medicine and/or Family Practice or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists (BOS) in Internal Medicine and/or Family Practice
Minimum of two (2) years recent clinical experience (immediately preceding the submission of this offer)
Current unrestricted license to practice medicine
Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration certification
Current BLS by the AHA, ARC, ASHI or ACEP Certification
No loss, reduction, restriction, or revocation of clinical privileges at any institution
No pending litigation for medical malpractice
No current or pending felony criminal charges
Physically capable of performing all Primary Care Physician services with reasonable accommodation

OHS is in an active bidding process for this position and position availability is contingent upon OHS being awarded the contract.
