OMNITEC Solutions is seeking a mid-level and Junior Web Applications Developer for the large scale design, development, implementation, and integration of an Enterprise SharePoint Portal solution.

Web Application Developer/Software Engineer, Web Portals – This position is located in Washington, DC (20535) and is Metro accessible.

Required Skills Include:
-  BS and 3+ years total experience with 2+ years of Object Oriented Development experience in .Net (Asp.net 2.0, Ado.net) or C# (C Sharp);
 - SQL Server 2005 capabilities to create tables, stored procedures, views and using reporting services to make custom reports;
 - Experience in Windows OS environment using XP and windows Server 2003;
- Rapid Application Development skills (Agile, SCRUM, etc) are highly preferred as our IT team members work closely with our clients and end users.

Helpful Skills Include:
- at least 1 year of experience designing and developing with MOSS (SharePoint) 2007, with experience using SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio 2005, custom Workflows, custom web parts, and custom Application Pages;
- Design ASP.NET User Controls for SharePoint;
- Designing ASP.NET SharePoint Web Parts for SharePoint;
- Code behind for SharePoint User Controls or web parts in either .Net or C#;
- at least 1 year of experience designing and developing with MOSS (SharePoint) 2007, with experience using SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio 2005, custom Workflows, custom web parts, and custom Application Pages;
- Experience in creating Features and packaging them up as Solutions for deployment in a MOSS environment;
- Experience in creating custom master pages and content pages;
- Knowledge of developing Word 2007 templates and integrating those templates into a SharePoint document library.

As these positions support the Intelligence community, US citizenship and an active Top Secret clearance is required, with the ability to obtain SCI access.
