1. 8-10 years of traffic coordination management experience in a similar industry.
2. Degree: Bachelors or higher
3. Must be able to communicate effectively and efficiently with plant manager and other employees.

the ability to properly follow through on deadlines and details.
5. Must possess excellent problem solving skills with the ability to find suitable solutions for transportation issues.

Description:
1. Supervise and manage Southwest Region Traffic and dispatching department, which consists of at least 3-5 team members. Including the following:

a. Issue
and maintain daily order status reports. Verify report to scale reports
from each yard, write and input new contracts into the computer system
and distribute the daily order status report to the appropriate people.
b.
Verify bill of lading to the bill of lading edit list, verify material,
contract, weight, and shipping method, and audit tonnage amounts from
contract to prevent over shipping.
c.
Coordinate all aspects of the delivery of processed scrap to customers
which includes but is not limited to; supervising hauler truck
schedules.
2. Ensure all paperwork
and forms required for outbound shipments are prepared accurately and
in a timely manner (liaison with operational staff, supervision of
transport, supervisors, dispatchers, and clerical staff).

Work closely with Buyers / Traders and Yard Management to ensure
transportation requirements are met in a timely and cost efficient
manner.
4. Meet and work with appropriate vendors and customers to resolve transport issues and / or promote PSW’s best interests.
5. Continually review all existing company transport assets for outbound shipments for best use. Effect change as required.
6. Provide regular reports analyzing vendor efficiency and cost structure.
7.
Participate in management and departmental meetings. Responsible for
developing and maintaining reporting systems and freight matrixes.
8. Other duties as assigned.
