RONCO has an immediate need for a Writer to supplement our Business Development and Proposals teams – Oxon Hill, MD.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Reporting to the proposal manager.
• Writing proposals, expressions of interest.
• Developing content for market material and capabilities statements.
• Working within time constraints, internally or externally imposed.
• Self-editing and self-publishing may be required.
• Document management and communicating effectively with a team on specific projects.
• Helping the RONCO team in any other written documents for which written expertise would improve the product.
Qualifications
Eligible candidates will possess superior relationship and interpersonal skills and an ability to interface with all levels of leadership. Candidates must be self-starters who can think and act quickly and independently, exercise sound judgment, and approach training with a determined, hands-on attitude.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related subject.
• Very strong writing skills.
• Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office software and Adobe Acrobat.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be very organized, detail-oriented and independent.
