Operation Confidence was founded in 1980. Our mission is to advocate for people with disabilities, provide dress for success/job preparation workshops and host community outreach events that include job fairs.
Operation Confidence's staff were at one time able-bodied but due to an accident caused them to have to use a wheelchair or other mobility devices. Despite their limitations they are considered mentors and role models.
Concerned about the overwhelming number of soldiers returning home from Iraqi and Afghanistan with a physical disability, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and/or Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Operation Confidence was compiled to do its part to help.
