The
Medical Services Support in Iraq (MSSI) Program Manager establishes a
clinically safe and professionally managed healthcare environment and
provides primary health care as well as resuscitative surgical care in
accordance with U.S. or equivalent medical standards on a 24-hour basis,
365 days of the year to Chief of Mission (COM) personnel U.S. Embassy
Baghdad, serving a population of approximately 14,000 adults.
SCOPE:
The Property Book Specialist works for and reports directly to the
Program Manager. They will coordinate closely with the Director of
Logistics, Director, Medical Maintenance, Site Leads and CONUS Program
Support personnel to ensure mission readiness. The Property Book
Specialist is responsible for coordinating activities that ensure
traceability and accountability throughout the life cycle of US
Government (USG) Property in accordance with FAR 52.245-1, Industry
Leading Practices and/or Voluntary Consensus Standards.
The
Property Book Specialist will develop standardized procedures for
receipt, storage, issue, packing and shipping, care, inspection, quality
control, segregation, inventory control, requisitioning, preservation,
salvage, and disposition of USG Property.
All
services shall be provided in accordance with established standards,
principles and ethics of the profession, applicable professional
specialty organizations, and the high-quality standard for which CHSi is
recognized.
Required Skills
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION, QUALIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE:
•Ten years’ experience managing of USG Property. Experience must include at least five years of OCONUS supervisory level work.
•Experience managing logistics support for diverse projects.
•Past supervisory experience in transportation, supply, supply chain management and warehousing is preferred.
•Experience managing USG owned property under provisions of FAR 52.245-1 is mandatory.
•Excellent written and oral communication skills.
•Strong team-building and team-member skills.
Certified Professional Property Manager (CPPM) through the National Property Management Association (NPMA) is a requirement
