Thank You for Participating in Hire a Soldier

From the Headquarters United States Army Soldier for Life - Transition Assistance Program (SFL-TAP)

The past five weeks have been a wonderful experience for SFL-TAP and for the individuals involved in our Hire a Soldier Campaign.  We had so many employers, non-profits, partners, Soldiers, and SFL-TAP staff help make this event possible.

Your help did not go unnoticed!  Below are some of the stats from the campaign that I have so far:

1.  The online Twitter Chat reached almost 4 million Twitter followers in a single day.

2.  The hashtag our office created was trending nationally on Twitter during the day of the Twitter Chat.  This means that Twitter put it on the side-bar of the platform as a suggested hashtag to use/follow, depending on a user's interests and location.

3.  The campaign/hashtag, which originally started on Facebook and Twitter, moved to other platforms like LinkedIn and Instagram.  The word spread fast!

4.  SFL-TAP's main Facebook page saw an increase in reach by almost 200% and engagement by over 500% when compared with data from weeks prior to the campaign.

5.  Two of our Facebook Live videos reached over 20K people, with others ranging from over 11K to over 16K.  Most were watched over 4K times, with multiple viewed over 5K all the way up to over 9K.  These were big numbers for our small page of about 7,500 followers at the start of the campaign.

6.  SFL-TAP and the partners received national and international attention, being published in multiple media outlets during the course of the campaign.

I can't thank you enough for your advertising and marketing support, as well as your constant dedication to helping transitioning Soldiers find their next dream opportunity.

While the campaign may be "over," the mission to connect transitioning Soldiers with companies at your centers is just getting started.  The employers participating have been given your Facebook pages and website location information to continue outreach in your region.

Here's to many more successes in the future!

Respectfully,
Jasmine
