Sanders to Host Education & Career Fair
State
Senator James Sanders Jr. (D-Rochdale Village, Far Rockaway) will be
hosting an Educational Conference & Career Fair on May 6, 2017 at M.S. 53Q Brian Piccolo, from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m.
The
Conference and Fair will address student and parental concerns
regarding College Grants, Excelsior Scholarships, and FAFSA
applications. It will also offer STEM workshops for parents and
students, and include a free tie and prom dress giveaway.
It
is being conducted in Partnership with Sports & Arts in Schools
Foundation, The Rockaway Development & Revitalization Corporation,
Zion Youth and Family Community Center of Elmont, Simple College
Solutions, 100 Suits for 100 Men, and Make My Mother Proud, and Queens
Library.
