Armed Forces Day, Saturday, May 20th NOON – 4pm at the Historical Museum at Fort Missoula

VETERAN SUICIDE AWARENESS & PREVENTION RUN/WALK WILL START AT 9AM (Go to vetsuicideawareness.com for more information and / or to register)
*FREE BBQ at NOON

*FREE ACTIVITIES for the KIDS
*FREE Music ~ We're excited to have the
Hero Sound Project play! (Other bands TBD – See below for more information re the Stop 22 Tour and HSP)
*FREE admission to The Historical Museum at Fort Missoula
*The Rocky Mountain Museum of Military History will (weather permitting) have its Civil War minicamp set up
AND MUCH MORE!!!
PARKING: Parks & Rec is asking that we DO NOT use the Fort Missoula Regional Park parking area (Do not enter the event from South Ave). Due to Maggot Fest and a volleyball tournament being held on the same day (PARKING MAP WILL BE POSTED ON FACEBOOK EVENT PAGE SOON).

From the Hero Sound Project ~ All Veterans who participate in Hero Sound Project are welcome and encouraged to be part of the band. Hero Sound Project meets every Thursday from 6pm to 8pm (Band practice) at the Zootown Arts Community Center (ZACC), 235 N. 1st St. W., Missoula. We meet in the basement and can be accessed to the right of the main entrance downstairs. Hero Sound Project is now an official program of The Zootown Community Arts Center (The ZACC) and will be having scheduled weekly lessons (Acoustic, song writing, etc).
**They would also like to bring Stephen Cochran and The Stop 22 Tour to Missoula to perform at the event; however, it will cost money to get them here from TN.
