Basic Qualification For Senior Network Engineer For Senior Network Engineer Top Secret clearance:
10+ years of experience with network design, administration, operations, procedures, and troubleshooting
8+ years of experience with leading projects and staff of similar size and scope
5+ years of experience with data communications network technologies, including VTC and VoIP
5+ years of experience with using IP routing protocols
5+ years of experience with using LAN switching technologies
Top Secret clearance required
BA or BS degree
CCNP or higher Cisco Certifications

Additional Qualifications For Senior Network Engineer For Senior Network Engineer Top Secret clearance:
Experience with performing network baseline assessments, LAN or WAN architecture design, VTC, VoIP, network security, continuity of operations plans (COOP), governing network policies and guidelines, enterprise application systems, network management systems, and network operations and management
Experience with hands-on Cisco router, switch, and firewall configuration and administration
Experience with configuring and administering Network Management Systems, including SolarWinds Orion a plus
Experience with implementing DoD and NIST guidelines to key network infrastructure components
Experience with service-level agreement measurement and reporting

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Key Role For Senior Network Engineer Top Secret clearance:
Lead a team of network engineers delivering products and services to government clients, interfacing with senior-level government clients and helping to shape their IT, networking, communication, and infrastructure. Employ expertise in a variety of program management and technical disciplines, including network engineering, information assurance, configuration management, quality assurance, cost, schedule, performance, and risk management, personnel management, and information system specialties. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts to job assignments and contribute to the advancement of industry knowledge in the area of expertise. Interface with the program manager on a daily basis regarding project deliverables and status updates, develop and maintain documentation used in certification and accreditation actions, and provide status briefings on an as requested basis on all managed systems. Maintain full patch compliance and ensure functional capability of systems through testing prior to the introduction of all patches. Lead the analysis of current state networking and infrastructure environments and lead the development of future state architecture and operation of networks, communications network management, and monitoring capabilities. Assess network infrastructures, analyzing gaps, designing future-state network architectures, and creating transition plans and associated network roadmaps.
