Avalon-Corpus Christi Transitional Center in Corpus Christi, TX  (1515 N Tancahua St, Corpus Christi, TX 78401)  and Avalon-Austin Transitional Center in Austin, TX (3154 East Hwy 71 Del Valle, TX 78617) are currently seeking  Treatment Counselors who have a passion for providing the highest quality care in a Transitional setting.
At Corrections Corporation of America (CCA) our Addiction Treatment teams make lasting changes in the lives of offenders, as we set the standards of care in the industry.
The Treatment Counselor implements a wide range of alcohol and drug use programs and provides case management and counseling services to residents assigned to the treatment program(s).

Requirements For Treatment Counselors LCDC Texas
• Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or a closely related field is required.
• One year of experience in the mental health or substance use counseling field is required.
• TX LCDC (Licensed Chemical Dependency  Counselor) licensure required.
