ISMS Solutions, LLC is seeking a self-starter who possess attention to detail and solid management skills to fill a Management System Consultant position. Candidates must have at least 3-5 years of prior experience working in an ISO aligned management system environment.

General Job Description For Management System Consultant:

• Interact in team environment building and training client on certified management systems.
• Participate in building a project plan for each client engagement.
•Work alone, with a team, and with the client to build their certified management system
• Clearly communicate and document findings and recommendations
• Listen to the client needs and wants and translate that into an action plan with recommendations, keeping in mind the client'€™s business environment
• Analyze customer environment and determine gaps preventing certification
• Handle customer sensitive and confidential information in a strictly professional manner.
• Work with the customer and the team to write complicated ISO aligned process assets.
• Be able to understand the client'€™s marketing, human resources, information technology, management and accounting processes
• Provide analyses of the existing practices of a company and make recommendations for improvements.
• Strategize how to resolve gap assessments for clients looking to achieve certification
• Be able to carry out internal audits and assess what needs to be remedied in order for a client to achieve certification
• Support the client'€s external audits and work with them to resolve any non-conformities or auditor recommended improvements.
• Participate in ISMS Solutions business environment, providing insight and suggestions on how to build the business through working with the Director of Consulting Services.

Employment Requirements For Management System Consultant:

Experience helping projects achieve certification in ISO 9001, 20000, and 27001 collectively or in some combination of one or more.

Three to five years of consulting or full time employment in a consultative role or equivalent time working in an environment where you participated in building the ISO aligned management system to include:

• Building and/or owning ISO aligned process assets
• Participating in an internal and/or external ISO audit
• Conducting relevant management meetings.

Certifications in consulting for ITIL and ISO 20000 are considered a plus.
Travel may be required inside and outside of the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
