Rose Oil seeks a self-starter who possess attention to detail and solid communication skills for an accountant position.

Accounting for general purposes with QuickBooks and Excel experience, knowledge in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and General Ledger required. We are located in Henderson, NC.

Specific job responsibilities include For Accountant Petroleum Company:

Preparing financial statements
Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable
Managing bank and general ledger positing and daily/monthly/year-end reconciliations
Handling payroll processing
Performing month-end closings
Assisting with budget, cost and variance analyses
Helping with financial planning and modeling
Tracking fixed assets
Preparing the trial balance
Handling collections and billing
Preparing accruals and reconciling to the general ledger
Performing general ledger posting and monthly/year-end reconciliations
Processing bills and checks
Preparing journal entries of adjustments to billings
General finance office duties (e.g. insurance forms, providing data to outside tax accountant, etc.).
