Frumkin from the Samaritan Center has been assisting him for the past 1
1/2 years. In that time, the Center has assisted him with obtaining
his VA cash voucher. Mr. Kims voucher ultimately expired and he was
unable to find housing in Simi Valley.
Mr. Kims has now obtained another cash
voucher and will have a limited time in which to find housing. They
found an apartment complex in Camarillo but is was discovered when his
credit was ran that he owes money to a collection agency. At this
time they're concerned for Mr. Kims' health as he is on dialysis and
will continue to be for the rest of his life.
The
apartment complex has stated that if the arrears is paid off that Mr.
Kimes can have the studio apartment. Therefore, the Samaritan Center is
trying to partner with other agencies to pay the arrears of $1,068.
