GovSource, Inc. is seeking seven instructors for a period up to 13 months, who will provide training, assistance, and advice to the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF). This Training Assistant Field Team (TAFT) will provide instruction, assistance and advisory duties which will train and assist the Jordanian artillery battalion in transforming into a High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) battalion. All training will take place in English.

Applicants must have a minimum of an active clearance up to NATO/US secret. Compensation is competitive with your choice of benefits (401K, Medical, Dental, Eye, Disability, AD&D).

Job Descriptions:
Serve as member of a HIMARS TAFT training a Jordanian Artillery Battalion over a 13 month period from individual through Battalion level collective and live fire training, enabling the Jordanian Armed Forces to have the ability to employ its HIMARS assets.

Individual Qualifications, Experience and Capabilities, Required:
a. One (1) Team Chief:
(1) Possess the equivalent skill-sets of a U.S. Army or U.S. Marine Corp (USMC) HIMARS battalion commander.
(2) Have successful battalion combat command or battalion command at the National Training Center experience and associated staff experience of a HIMARS battalion operations officer.
(3) Be military education level 4 (MEL 4) and Intermediate Level Education (ILE) qualified.
(4) Be knowledgeable in tasks down to the crew level.
(5) Possess the skill to train battalion and battery officers on the strategic and operational use of HIMARS.
(6) Be fully acquainted with Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS).
(7) Be able to assist in all aspects of a Doctrine, Organization, Training, Material, and Leadership – Personnel Facilities (DOTML-PF) analysis of the new battalion.

b. One (1) Team Deputy:
(1) Have a minimum of two years subject matter expertise in HIMARS battalion level operations, evaluation and training capabilities, maintenance operations, planning cycles, fire direction center operations at battalion and battery levels, battery operations center (BOC) and platoon operations center (POC) operations and the most current U.S. Tactic, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs).
(2) Possess the equivalent skill-sets of a HIMARS battalion executive officer.
(3) Have combat experience and associated staff experience of a HIMARS executive officer.
(4) Be military education level 4 (MEL 4) and Intermediate Level Education (ILE) qualified.
(5) Be familiar with tasks down to the crew level.
(6) Possess the skill to train battalion and battery officers on the strategic and operational use of HIMARS and able to assist the team lead in all aspects of a DOTML-PF analysis of the new battalion.

c. Two (2) HIMARS Battery Trainers:
(1) Possess the equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities of a HIMARS battery first sergeant (1SG).
(2) Have combat experience and associated experience as a HIMARS 1SG.
(3) Have two years of experience as either (1) a trainer in HIMARS launcher platoons in a HIMARS battalion transformation program and HIMARS POI developer, and/or (2) experience as a battery/platoon/launcher crew instructor at the U.S. Army Field Artillery School.
(4) Be graduates of the Advanced Noncommissioned Officer Course or the USMC equivalent.
(5) Be able to train battery and platoon commanders on their roles in the tactical planning process, Reconnaissance, Selection and Occupation of Position (RSOP), battery command and control, BOC and POC operations, and logistics.
(6) Have advanced knowledge of platoon operations, to include, but not limited to, RSOP, resupply/reload, convoy operations, crew level maintenance, firing procedures, and emergency procedures.

d. Two (2) HIMARS Fire Direction Centers (“FDC Trainers”):
(1) Have a minimum of two years subject matter expertise in fire direction center operations at battalion and battery levels with an in depth knowledge of AFATDS.
(2) Have effective knowledge of BOC and POC operations and the most current TTPs.(3) Possess the equivalent skill-sets of a HIMARS FDC chief.
(4) Have combat experience and associated staff experience.
(5) Be familiar with tasks down to the crew level.
(6) Have the ability to train battalion and battery officers on the tactical employment of HIMARS and able to assist the TAFT chief in all aspects of a DOTMLPF analysis of the new battalion.
(7) Possess the equivalent skill sets of a HIMARS battery staff sergeant, with combat experience and associated staff experience as a HIMARS with extensive equivalent experience as an AFATDS HIMARS POI developer, and/or experience as an AFATDS trainer in support of a HIMARS battalion transformation, or as a US Army Field Artillery School AFATDS instructor.
(8) Be graduates of Advanced Noncommissioned Officer Course or the USMC equivalent.
(9) Be able to advise battery commanders on the AFATDS
planning process and related RSOP, battery command and control, BOC and POC operations, and logistics.
(10)Have the knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs) to educate and train the respective levels of Jordanian artillery soldiers to serve as members and lead and supervise a HIMARS battalion and battery fire direction center or firing platoon headquarters.

e. One (1) HIMARS Repairers (“Maintenance Trainer”):
(1) Possess the equivalent skill sets of a U.S. Army HIMARS forward support company maintenance section leader with combat experience.
(2) Have two (2) years of experience as a trainer in a HIMARS battalion transformation program and/or experience as a trainer at the U.S. Army Field Artillery School.
(3) Have the knowledge, skills, and abilities to educate and train Jordanian artillery soldiers to (a) troubleshoot self-propelled loader launcher (SPLL) and the launcher loader module (LLM) electrical, electronic, mechanical assemblies, modules, and interconnecting cables to isolate malfunctions; (b) replace or repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical assemblies, modules, and cables determined to be faulty; (c) use breakout boxes and built in test equipment (BITE) for fault isolation and verification or adjustment of electrical assemblies and modules of LLM; (d) repair and replace chassis mounted components on units under test; (5) operate system cable tester; (e) perform unit maintenance on system peculiar test, training, and ancillary equipment; (f) assist automatic test equipment (ATE) operator in fault isolating LLM electronic modules and assemblies to component level at organizational level; (g) Prepare and maintain equipment logs, equipment modification and utilization records, exchange logs, and calibration data cards; (h) complete maintenance and supply forms and records.
