POSITION/PROGRAM SUMMARY:
Senior Security Engineer Support
The overall objective of this support is to provide the C4IAS and SOCRATES Program Managers (PMs) with the IT planning, engineering, and implementation expertise to assist with:
- Developing innovative IT engineering technical solutions;
- Developing IT concept recommendations;
- Conducting technical evaluations, security analyses, and providing recommendations;
- Preparing appropriate security documentation to obtain certification and accreditation for
funded technical solutions;
- Planning, designing, engineering, managing, and implementing funded technical solutions that improve efficiencies and effectiveness of critical SOF IT services I

BASIC REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience Requirement:
Five (5) years of professional information assurance experience evaluating system risks, identifying and recommending multi-layered defense-in-depth architectures, and managing C&A efforts. Experience MUST
include the following Special Qualifications:
Minimum of five (5) years current, professional level experience navigating cross-domain system design
requirements, certification, and accreditation in both Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information and
Below Interoperability (TSABI) and Secret and Below Interoperability (SABI) environments.
Minimum of three (3) years current, professional level experience in providing direct security engineering support to program managers for endpoint, enclave, and enterprise IT solutions.
Minimum of three (3) years current, professional level experience developing security-related support documentation for DoD and IC Enterprise and tactical deployments.

Educational/Experience Equivalency:
Master of Science Degree in Information Assurance, Computer Science, or a related field preferred. Relevant experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
Licensure and/or Certification:
Minimum certification - Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP)
Other relevant certifications and licenses will be considered.

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Preferred Experience/Skills -
* Strong Documentation Skills
* Softwarelhardware test and evaluation experience
* Previous network/systems security analyst experience
* Previous UnixlLinux system administration experience
* Understanding of network architectures and protocols
